The inspiration for this project came from the huge waste of paper at my office. Love the rough edges paper and rustic styling of these books. I ve made ones simply by covering cheap composition notebooks with fabric book cover style using paint pens to draw cool designs on the cover plastering with stickers stenciling my initials and even pressing dried and pressed flowers into the inside cover for a really unique flair. I have been wanting to make a leather journal just like this one. I made this journal for about 6 including the leather and the awl which i got from amazon so there s no excuse not to give this a try.
